• Went out for sightseeing of Penguin Parade. Phillip Island is connected by a bridge with the Mainland. Sightseeing tour for the Little Penguins is mainly targeted at night. They are 30 cm actually little penguins. Penguins went out to the sea to find their feed and return back to their nest at night. We see them from step-style seat. One group consist of about 10 penguins. Unfortunately we can not take pictures with flash because penguins are nocturnal habit and flash may hurt their eyes. Preparing for coldness at night is very important. Even it is warm in daytime, nighttime becomes cold. It is important to protect with winter cloths. It was on March and beginning of winter and daytime were warm but cold at night. Caring winter cloths was good decision. Sightseeing tour was organized by GRAY LINE and the fee was 102 Australian dollar. It is necessary to apply in advance. Concierge could handle the procedure and he applied it on previous day. It is also possible to apply it by myself by the telephone written in the brochure. Payment is done in the touring office. Took dinner in a restaurant at the beach near the parade center. Dinner cost was not included in the tour fee. A bus came to take us to the touring office. The penguin parade is a popular tour and there were many sightseeing people. Tour guide was exclusive for this penguin parade and some other companis' tour guests were there with our same bus. It started on 14:00 and returned back on 23:30, really late at night. Same bus took us to each hotel finally.

• I found the best place from where everyone can see the penguin parade absolutely. And I open it! In order to look at the parade, usually, we went down to the beech through the passage in center of the building. And to see the penguins to return back to there by sitting on the sightseeing bench installed on the slope. Actually, our group also did it. This time, it is important to sit on the bench as close to beach as as possible. However, I found another good place to see them. There is a seeing passage just after the entrance and on the right along with the bank. Actually the bank, just beside this passage, is the nests for the penguins. Penguins walk back to their nests taking long time from the beach below. Therefore everybody can surely see the penguins walking back to their nests with very close position.This photo was induced from the brochure and a group of penguin came back with around ten penguin taking long time. We could not see this kind of many penguins all together. It may happen late at night, but we could not see while on the sightseeing tour. However we can see very closely, really.

  BET AND BREAKFAST
  Koalas need eucalypt trees for food. They prefer to feed on young succulent leaves at the tips of branches so they often go out on a limb to reach them. Shorter, denser shrubs such as wattles give Koalas shelter on very hot days or in cold, windy weather. Tree forks provide comfortable and secure resting places. Koalas may often be seen snoozing in these during the day.
  
  ALL IN A DAY'S WORK
  Koalas do very little. The 500 grams of leaves kaoalas eat each day provides them with as much energy as one serving of breakfast cereal does for us! So, it makes a lot of sense to sit around doing nothing to save energy.
  20 hours approximately of the koala's day is spent asleep and resting. 1-3 hours a day are spent feeding. This occurs in numerous bouts spread across the 24 hours, especially around sunset. Feeding may last from 5 minutes to 2 hours. 1-3 hours are spent in grooming, moving from tree to tree and during the breeding season searching fro a mate.

Stopped at the Kangaroo park before Penguin Parade. They are fenced in and put to glass. They are friendly.
Buy bait in entrance and feed them. Kangaroo run is not skip lightly than I expected.			Tasmanian tiger in dark.
Next is Koalas park in Phillips Island. Koalas are fenced in and eucalypt trees planted in the park for their feed.
Many Koalas were sleeping on trees because they sleep 20 hours a day.
Koala is bigger than I expected when we see them in close distance.
