• Nagasaki nowadays becomes good sightseeing spot in Kyushu Island, Southern Japan. Since the era of national isolation several hundred years ago, Nagasaki was one of rare cites to open outside countries.

• This Urakami District is called "Love and Peace Zone." Main spots are Urakami Cathedral and Peace Park.

• Huge Statue of Peace was made by Mr. Seibo Kitamura of Nagasaki-born creater. It is 9.7 meter high, 30 tons weight and made of bronze. It was completed on August 9, 1955 just 10 years after the war.

• There are many statues in the Peace Park and most of them were gifts from other countries.

Nyokodo is a small house where Dr. Nagai spent his late years.	He dedicated to serve while he was bombed, and he wrote many books.	Luxuriant metasequire in 3 mil-year, left as petrified wood.	But metasequire was found around WW II in China and became famous.
