• YUFUIN is a town of hot spring and locates center of Kyushu Island. It takes one and half hours from Tokyo to Oita airport. It is 50 km from Oita airport to YUFUIN town. It takes less than one hour at good weather condition but at the area between the airport and the town, fog rises very often. It took one and half hours to YUFUIN this time because of the fog and on the contrary, it took less than one hour from YUFUIN without fog.

• Hot spring town is generally thought as a town of old persons to go to relax where old people are all around. But YUFUIN is different and many young generation including young girls are there. The town tried to change the image of old hot spring town to sophisticated town of young generation. And it succeeded.

Common name "Dear Rokusho" and Rokusho means six poles of Gods which are dedicated. Official name of the shrine is Unagihime-shrine.
YUFUIN has been a pond area which has ancient monument of 2,000 years old. It is said that "eel" has been thought as Spirit of the pond and was dedicated.
