• Taj Mahal is a huge mausoleum being made of white marble. It was dedicated for his late wife. In 1983, Taj Mahal was inscribed as Natural Heritage in UNESCO. Construction started in 1632 and finished in 1654 took more than 20 years.

• It is located in Agra, 200 km from Delhi for south. It has highway but camel carts are also on the road and then it takes two and half hours or three hours by car. On the same road, car comes straight in front from the other direction. It is quite frightening scene. But just before crush, each cars turn aside for avoiding impact. We experience this kind of scene many times before arriving.. Knock on wood!

• The fifth Mugal Emperor Shah Jehahn, means "King of the world", constructed the mausoleum for grieving his wife Empress Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal was changed from her name and meant "Crown of the palace."

• There was no custom to build tomb because it was believed that the dead body could re-birth in 49 days, in other words, the idea of transmigration. When Islamic culture came in, people began to make tomb.

• Actually, those photos were taken by "an easy camera" before the digital camera. Those negative films were scanned a digital film scanner. Some photos were inclined to blue color or dark and some were terrible resolution. In the real world, analog photos rely upon a photo shop in town. In a digital camera field, we depend upon "PhotoShop." Those were scanned by 3888 x 2692 resolution but all of them were terrible. This time, those were listed in this site because I believe there will be another chance to come to Taj Mahal, although analog photos are not intentioned in this site.

Agra castle of Mugal Empire, In 1558, Capital was moved to Agra from Delhi.	It has both Palace and bastide function. Constructed from 1564 to 1574.	Emperor's audience room. Arches were made of marble.	Confined in later life and died looking at Taj Mahal.
