• Tsuwano locates in western part of Honshu main land. The rice field has extended right and left of the line. This train is so-called one-man vehicle with a driver only.

• Tsuwano is a snug town. Tsuwano town Tourist Association is out of the station and it exists soon on the right side. Let's walk around first. Main places can be seen in half a day. The entire towns are united by an obedient color, and the garish color is not used. "Mysterious time flows in this town" is a catchphrase of Tsuwano.

• A small town stretching north-south along a valley in the Central Japan mountain ranges towards the western end of Shimane Prefecture, Tsuwano is referred to as the little Kyoto of the Sanin region. About 700 years ago a mountain castle was built in Tsuwano, from which time the surrounds flourished as a castle town. The streets remain steeped in the rich atmosphere of that time, passing a pastoral, nostalgic charm which draws endless visitors. Canals in which schools of carp swim gently by iris blossoms and samurai houses hidden behind white walls are Tsuwano's symbols.
