• The scenery of this area is preserved as country specification historic site "Hagi Castle Town." The white wall and houses at that time remains and they create good castle town atmosphere.

• Shuu Aoki old house: He was born in the county of Oshima Suho as the eldest son of a medical doctor in 1803. He went to study to Osaka after he became a disciple of Hagi clan doctor, Domi Nomi, and studied the Dutch learning. He became a Dutch learning professor, and a lot of children were educated. This house was owned by Mr. Norikazu Ando after the Meiji era, and the Hagi city bought it from the Ando family in 1978. • The birthplace of Shinsaku Takasugi: He was born in 1839 as eldest son, commuted in 1857 for 4 years to the Shoka Cram School. Photograph and the book, etc. are exhibited in an old house. Enseiji Temple and shrine gate are mixed practice of Buddhism and Shintoism.	The main temple in Enseiji is a usual Bhuddist temple.	There is a Shinto shrine in the same place.	Stone lantern of 4.5 m high was highest in Japan , made in 1858.
