• It is said that Frankfurt is finance and commercial city. It is the biggest commercial city. There are high-rise buildings and old medieval town is also at the center of the city.

• It is convenient to access by train from the airport to the center of the city. It takes just ten minutes to the station Hauptbache. Single ticket is 3 Euro and 20 Cents. On returning from Hauptbache, suburban train "S-Barn" is used. We can find the way easily by looking out the big "S" signboard. The other train is "U" signboard that is U-Barn subway.

• Train station Hauptbache is the center of the city. And main roads start from here. Old main town is within one kilometer distance and then it is walking distance.

This is Hauptbache itself. Built in 1729 for guard house. Rebuilt.	Liebfrauen Church	Public market and memorial stone	Katharinen Church was built in 1353. Burnt in 44. Rebuilt in 60s.

Roemer(Old city hall). 15th century lord house was refit. It was used as a banquet hall after crowning of Great Roman Empire.

Nikolai Church in RoemerbergOld town square going back to Celtic era. Synthesyzed, left and right		One side, timberwork houses,	the other, old city hall. Beautiful square.
Ancient Roman Bathhouse next to Roemerberg. As model shoes, it maybe use to be a bathhouse.
Dom(Cathedral) with 95m high tower or St.Bartholomew Church. 9th century church was rebuilt into Gothic style in 13th and 14th century.
Since 1152, it was used as election hall for Emperor of Great Roman Empire. Crowning of Emperor was done since 1562. Outside is under refit with garnish sign.
Going back to Roemerberg again, and enjoy beautiful Medieval square.
Center of this square are City Hall Roemer and timberwork housed. City bought the three houses in 1405 and refit to the city hall. Center building is called Zum Roemer and belonged to a merchant who dealt with Rome. This name became the name of the city hall and the square was called as Roemer. The housed were lord house in 15th century. These houses were restored after the war by old photographs and drawings.
Just after the entrance, Nikolai church is there. Light changes from bright sun to the evening sun.
Nikolai Church was originally built in 1290. Inside seems to be new and compactly pack.
Fountain of Justice Goddess who has simple balance with hand showing fairness. Fountain of Minerba. On crowning of Emperor, wine was poured from the fountain.			Other statue in the square.
Buildings in the square have small ornaments since Medieval age such as sign and lamp which reflect atmosphere.
Left is old city hall	Marriage is done in the house.	White cloth was cut as heart style.	Bride goes through it with holding bridegroom.
