• It takes one hour by train from Geneva. We arrived at Montreux and it takes ten minutes from Montreux to CHATEAU DE Chillon by bus. It locates on the lake of Geneva.

• Sometime it is difficult to get reserved seat in vacation season in Japan, but here in Switzerland, it is not necessary to reserve it. I sometimes travelled by the train and always have got seated. I wonder what happens at congested season.

• I rode a trolley bus from Chillon to Montreux. It takes just ten minutes. The train was silent and smooth. It has battery system inside the bus and be able to run without electric cable in short time. It usually uses electric cable. Bus fee was 2.5 Franc and taxi was 13 Franc.

• Montreux is small town and then it has no sightseeing bus system, a person of sightseeing burau at the Montreux station said.
