• Garuda Park, GWK "Garuda Wisunu Kenkana Cultural Park," is a big theme park opened in 2000 and has 880,000 m2 area. Only part of the park is used now. Art gallery, museum, exhibition hall, shopping center and hotels are under construction. After the completion, this area becomes the big cultural center.

• Baron dance was performed in front of the Wisnu statue.Baron Dance is popular one in Bali dances. It is a show of brutal fighting between Witch Rangda and Sacred Animal Baron. Sacred Animal Baron resembles Japanese Lion Dance. Wisunu is one of Bali Hindu Gods, symbolizing life and peace and riding on the Sacred Bird Garuda.

• Baron dance story is based on Indonesian traditional view, the world is kept by balancing between good and evil.
  This is the story of the Barong Dance.
  A young prince, Sadewa, is going to be sacrificed to a witch monster. The queen, who loved the prince, is desperate about having to sacrifice her son. The witch casts a spell on the queen and let the prince tied to a tree in the cemetery where the witch lives. The God Shiva has mercy on the prince and makes him immortal. The witch appears and starts to sacrificing ceremony. However because the prince is immortal, then the witch can not do anything. Defeated witch asked the prince to kill the witch to go to heaven and the prince accepted it. The first student of the witch, Kaleka, requested strongly to be killed likewise but the prince did not agree with it. Kaleka turns first into a boar, then into giant bird and tries to attack him. But The prince wins the both. Then Kaleka finally turns into Rangda, the evil of all creation. The prince realized that he could not win and then he turns into Barong who represents the good powers, or God of Truth. Rangda and Barong fight, but as their powers are balanced, none of them can win. Barong calls for his followers to assist him. They attack Rangda but Kaleka casts a spell on them so that they fall into a trance and stab themselves with their knives. However, the Barong makes one final appearance and releases them from her curse. In the final scene a priest pours holy water on the soldiers and awakens them from their trance.

Sacred Barong actually resembles Japanese traditional Lion Dance. Barong guided us to the Statue of Wisunu
Wisunu is 22m high on a hill. Garuda Statue, completed in 2005, will be as high as 140m.
