"The Daughters of the Republic of Texas" present The Story of The Alamo

ちょっと日本語が変ですが 私の責任ではありません。 元々こんな訳になっています。National FlagTexas State Flag The Alamo is proud of the Texas and native place of mind. You can find only one Texas State flag in the Alamo. Texas is the only state which is allowed to hoist the Texas State Flag only. Texas has been an independent country called The Republic of Texas and then it is allowed to hoist a state flag only without the federal flag.

"The Alamo Past and Today" is in the left booklet in detail.
This booklet is presented by The Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT). The DRT have been entrusted by the Texas State legislature with the care and maintenance of The Alamo. The DRT must preserve the historic site "as a sacred memorial to the heroes." With no monetary help from local, state, or federal government, the DRT depends solely on money from donations and proceeds from the gift shop to preserve the complex and maintain exhibits.

This is why the DRT is in the title.

My memory is "Alamo's Fortress" in Japanese and when I looked at a dictionary, it says that "Alamo's Fortress" in Japanese describes just "Alamo." This simple expression shows with a heart full of feeling.

It becomes one of excursion courses of school children. There were many school pupils guided by the teachers. And also there were many senior people in a relaxed manner.
